WELCOME TO Mines Environment and Mineral Convservation Association , Ajmer Region
The first “Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation Week” of Ajmer Region was celebrated in the year 1989-90 by Indian Bureau of Mines, Ajmer Region to promote
awareness and encourageresponsible mining practices among mine owners, operators and professionals.
Vision
To enhancing awareness towards maintaining harmonious equilibrium between eco-environ-
friendly mining with adopting latest technology to protect Environment and to promote Sustainable
Mining practices with Mineral Conservation in the mining industry while fostering a spirit of
competition and cooperation among participating mines.
MISSION
To sensitizing the needs of the responsible and Sustainable Mining Practices through such
event among mine owners and workers about the importance of responsible mining, to encourage
the adoption of best practices in mine development, and promotes their efforts through recognizing
such mines and reward the mines.
